I recently found cracks on both fwd stab attach brackets on a preflight. The cracks I believe, were not caused by flight loads. I think they were caused by the sometimes very abrupt nature of the 912S at shutdown and sometimes at start up when cold. It can really shake the fuselage like a dog shaking off water. I don't know if anyone else has these cracks. Above are the pictures of the cracks found and also the repair I hope will put an end to the issue for me. I increased the thickness of the attach brackets 7H2-6 to .063. I have also added a gusset with three 8-32 bolts to share the loads. The horizontal stab is rock solid now.
